These are supplied in different sheet sizes for a variety of purposes which are shown as follows:

Standard boards:
2400x1200x9.5mm Square Edge
2400x1200x12.5mm Square Edge
2400x1200x15mm Square Edge
1800x900x12.5mm Square Edge
2400x1200x12.5mm Tapered Edge

This board has one ivory face for decorating, the other a grey face which can be used for installation with stud partitions, lining and ceiling systems. This complies with BS 1230 type 1 and BS 520 type A.

Plank board:
2400x600x19mm Square Edge

This board has one ivory face for decorating, the other a grey face which can be used for
Drylining of walls, acoustic floors/ceilings and for stud partitions. This complies with BS 1230 type 1 and BS EN 520 type A.

Lath boards:
1220x600x9.5mm Tapered Edge
1220x600x12.5mm Tapered Edge

This board requires a skim coat with a grey face on both sides for use as a lining board on ceilings. This complies with BS 1230 type 6 and BS EN 520 type P.

Performance Boards:
2400x1200x12.5mm Vapour Check Square Edge
This board has one ivory face for decorating, the other a silver metallised polyester film for use in stud partitions, lining and ceiling systems. This complies with BS 1230 type 1 and BS EN 14190.

2400x1200x12.5mm Fire Check Square Edge
This board has one pink face for decorating, the other a grey face which can be used for installation with stud partitions, lining and ceiling systems that requires superior fire performance. This complies with BS 1230 type 5 and BS EN 520 type D & F.

2400x1200x12.5mm Moisture Check Tapered Edge
This board has one green face for decorating with tapered edges, the other a green face which can be used for installation with stud partitions, lining and ceiling systems that requires superior moisture resistance. This complies with BS 1230 type 3 and BS EN 520 type H1.

2400x1200x12.5mm Db Check Tapered Edge
This board has one blue face for decorating with tapered edges, the other a grey face which can be used for installation with stud partitions, lining and ceiling systems that requires superior acoustic performance. This complies with BS 1230 type 1 and BS EN 520 type D & I.

2400x1200x22mm & 40mm Thermal Check Tapered Edge
Thermal board is a 9.5mm ivory face board bonded to expanded polystyrene to make up the overall thickness. This can be used for drylining external masonry walls or for upgrading existing constructions, loft spaces, ceilings and renovations.

Even if you have an enquiry about a different manufacturer's product then Lafarge GTEC will do an equivalent.

British Gypsum

The designated plaster supplier for the Sydenhams group is British Gypsum supplying most products required for wall and board finishes. Theses products are kept mainly in 25kg bags and are kept by most of our main branches.
